Great weekend of DH racing for the Newfoundland crew, Racing in the North west cup is Port Angles Washington Jordon Hodder finishes a respectable 11th place in Men's Elite just 11 secs behind Winner Aaron Quin. Racing At the same race in the same class Sheldon finished 21st,this is a great result for Sheldon's first race back from one year of for injuries. At the Canada opener in Mount Tremblant QC Matt Beer finished 3rd in Men's elite, in Junior class,racing his first Canada cup Nick Hanlan finished 15th. Jack Hickey takes a podium spot in Cadet with a 5th place result.

One of the Freeride MTB crew wins prestigious award.

Matt Beer was the recipient of the prestigious award of St.John's Athlete of the  Year for 2012.

The award was announced Last night at St.John's city Hall. Matt was selected for his achievements in the World Cup Downhill Mountain bike series and for taken the National title in July 

Congrads to Matt.
